Fifty50 · free split calculator

How should you split equity with your co-founder?

Enter what each partner puts in — cash and time. Fifty50 values it (cash at face value, time at fair market rates) and runs it through the same balanced model your split is certified with by default — so the split you preview is the split you can prove. Then make it real: Fifty50 tracks your living split and cryptographically signs it. No sign-up, nothing saved.

Make it real

Turn this into a certificate you can prove.

A number in a calculator convinces no one. Fifty50 signs your split with a tamper-evident, registry-anchored certificate your co-founder, lawyer, or investor can verify — no account needed to check it. Tracking is free to start.

How the math works

First each partner's contribution is valued in market dollars — cash at face value plus time at a fair mid-market rate for the role. Fifty50's balanced model then turns those values into the split: it balances toward a durable partnership rather than a raw dollar ratio, so a partner's % can differ from their dollar share. This is the model your split is certified with by default, so the preview matches your signed certificate. Inside the product your certificate reflects your partnership's own agreed, living split. Subjective contributions — ideas, intros, assets — enter the split only once another partner vouches for them, so no one can inflate their own slice; that co-sign step lives in the full product. A single unverified item above $250,000 counts up to that line until it's co-signed.
