Fifty50 ("the Service"), operated by Frederick & Sons ("we", "us"), provides two things:
Every output of the Service is informational guidance only. It does not constitute legal, tax, accounting, investment, or financial advice, and it is not a binding equity agreement, cap table, contract, or obligation. The Service does not form an attorney-client, broker-client, or fiduciary relationship. You must obtain independent professional counsel before acting on any recommendation.
The marketplace exists to connect co-founders and collaborators. It is expressly not a venue for offering, advertising, soliciting, or arranging any investment or security. You agree that you will not use any listing, profile, message, or other content on Fifty50 to:
We screen listings for this kind of language and may reject or remove any content that crosses this line, at our discretion. Offering sweat equity to a working co-founder, or splitting ownership among people who will actually build the venture together, is welcome — that is the entire point of the Service.
If you choose to represent your partnership as a token or other on-chain record, you do so entirely as your own act and on your own infrastructure. You alone are responsible for ensuring that any such instrument, and any offer or transfer of it, complies with all applicable securities, commodities, tax, and money-transmission laws in every relevant jurisdiction. You must not use Fifty50 to offer or sell any token or interest to outside or passive investors. Recording how founders who are building a venture together share its ownership is permitted; turning that record into a public investment offering is not.
We do not verify the identity, claims, credentials, or trustworthiness of any user, listing, or counterparty. Any partnership, agreement, payment, or relationship you enter with someone you meet through Fifty50 is strictly between you and them, at your own risk. Do your own due diligence and use written agreements reviewed by counsel.
A listing is a public post. Anything you put in a listing — including the name, email, handle, or link you provide as your contact method — is published openly, is visible to anyone on the internet, and may be crawled, cached, or indexed by third parties. Do not include information you are not comfortable making public. You can close a listing at any time, but previously distributed or cached copies may persist outside our control.
You agree not to use the Service to: break any law; post false, misleading, infringing, hateful, or harassing content; impersonate others; scrape or abuse the API beyond documented limits; attempt to compromise the Service or its users; or do anything prohibited in Section 3 or 4.
The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Frederick & Sons is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from a relationship, agreement, equity split, or instrument you formed using the Service. The Service is a neutral tool; responsibility for how it is used rests with the user who uses it.
We may update these terms; continued use after a change means you accept the update. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
