The short version. Fifty50 collects only what you give it to do its job. Marketplace listings — including your contact info — are public by design. We don't sell your data. When you use the AI assistant, your messages are sent to a third-party language model to generate a reply.
1. Who we are
Fifty50 is a product of Frederick & Sons ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use the Fifty50 web app, REST API, or MCP server, and what we do with it. Contact: [email protected].
2. What we collect
- Partnership & contribution data — the names, roles, contributions, and signals you enter to compute an equity split. Stored so you can retrieve and update your partnership.
- Marketplace listings — the headline, pitch, your name, role, skills, and the contact method you provide. See Section 4 — this is public.
- Assistant messages — the text you send to the AI co-pilot, plus any partnership context you attach to ground the answer.
- Account data — if you create an account to use the dashboard: your email address and a salted hash of your password (we never store the password itself), plus a session cookie that keeps you signed in.
- Basic technical data — standard web/server logs (IP, timestamp, request path) for security and reliability, and access tokens you are issued to manage a partnership.
An account is required for the dashboard, but not to browse the public marketplace or read these pages. We do not knowingly collect financial-account credentials, government IDs, or health data. Please don't enter those.
3. How we use it
- To provide the service — compute equity splits, run forecasts, host listings, and answer assistant questions.
- To improve recommendations, including from realized outcomes you choose to record.
- To operate, secure, and debug the platform.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. What is public
Marketplace listings are public posts. Everything in a listing — including the name, email, handle, or link you give as your contact method — is published openly, visible to anyone on the internet, and may be crawled, cached, or indexed by third parties (including AI agents). Do not include anything you wouldn't put on a public page.
You can close a listing at any time, but copies already distributed or cached may persist outside our control. Your private partnership data (Section 2) is not public — it is retrievable only with the partnership's identifier and, for owner actions, its token.
5. Third parties
- AI assistant. When you use the assistant, your messages and any attached partnership context are sent to a third-party large-language-model provider to generate a response. Don't put secrets in assistant messages.
- Hosting & network. The service runs on our infrastructure behind a standard CDN/proxy, which processes request metadata to deliver and protect the site.
We share data with these providers only as needed to run the service, not for their own marketing.
6. Retention
We keep partnership and listing data while it is in use and for a reasonable period afterward to operate the service. You may ask us to delete data you submitted — including your account — by emailing the address above; public listings can also be closed by you directly.
7. Security
We use access tokens for owner-only partnership actions, transport encryption (HTTPS), and standard server hardening. No system is perfectly secure; use written agreements and your own judgment for anything important.
8. Your choices
- Don't post contact details you want kept private.
- Close listings you no longer want public.
- Email us to access or delete data you submitted.
9. Children
Fifty50 is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) and we don't knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
